Divorce & Separation Coaching that is Evidence-Based and Heart-Led

Divorce and separation can be emotionally, practically and financially overwhelming. You may be trying to make important decisions while also managing shock, grief, conflict, paperwork, parenting, legal deadlines and uncertainty about the future. DC² Divorce Coaching offers a calm, supportive space to help you feel less alone and more able to cope with what is in front of you.

I combine psychological insight, trauma-informed training and practical support to help you move through the process with more clarity, steadiness and confidence. This might include support with Form E and general paperwork preparation, getting ready for court, co-parenting challenges, emotional regulation, decision-making or rebuilding a sense of direction.

I also work alongside family lawyers, mediators, financial professionals and other family justice practitioners where helpful, providing additional support for clients who may feel overwhelmed, stuck or disorganised. This includes neurodivergent clients who may benefit from extra structure, clarity and support to stay engaged during the process.

Many people do not know this kind of support exists until they need it. My role is to help bridge the gap between emotional overwhelm and the practical demands of the divorce process.

I’m Doris, the founder of DC² Divorce Coaching. I hold a Diploma in Divorce and Separation Coaching, awarded with Distinction, and my work is shaped by my background in psychology, counselling, psychotherapy training and communications, including study at Birkbeck, the University of Cambridge and my current MSc at London Met.

Before moving into this work, I spent several years in senior communications and marketing roles, which informs how I help clients make sense of complex information, prepare for difficult conversations and communicate more clearly during high-stakes moments.

I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients and clients who find the divorce process especially difficult because of overwhelm, executive functioning demands, trauma responses or high-conflict dynamics. This might mean helping someone organise paperwork, break tasks into manageable steps, prepare for meetings or court, or communicate more clearly with their professional team.

I also believe strongly in collaborative and multidisciplinary practice. Divorce coaching is not a replacement for legal, financial, therapeutic or specialist safeguarding support. Where needed, I work alongside or refer clients to family lawyers, mediators, financial professionals, therapists, domestic abuse specialists and other practitioners, so that clients can access the right support for the right part of the process.

My work is shaped by a wider commitment to social justice, inclusion and culturally aware practice. I care deeply about helping people feel heard and supported in systems that can sometimes feel intimidating or inaccessible, particularly for clients who are neurodivergent, marginalised, disadvantaged or navigating complex family dynamics.

Outside of work, I’m a competitive powerlifter and love spending time in nature. Both remind me that strength is not about never struggling, but about support, steadiness and learning to trust yourself again.
